Court rules Second Amendment extends to gun sales, could ease zoning laws on gun stores

Constitutional protections afforded by the Second Amendment include the right to buy and sell firearms, a federal appeals court ruled Monday in a decision that reinstates a lawsuit over zoning laws that limit where gun stores can be located.

Homeowner shoots, kills intruder in Chester County

A homeowner fatally shot a intruder during a home invasion in Chester County Saturday morning. According to the Chester County Sheriff's Office, the home invasion occurred on Baton Rouge Road. The sheriff's office did not say what time the shooting occurred. The homeowner was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, deputies say. A homicide investigation is underway. No names were released.

Baton Rouge Road shooting under investigation

A Friday night shooting incident is under investigation at this hour by the Chester County Sheriff's Office. According to reports, the incident was a home invasion. The homeowner shot and killed the suspect. The homeowner was also injured during the incident. According to the Chester County Coroner the suspect who was shot and killed was Antonio Roberts age 35.
